There are two maps of the extension.

The large-scale map shows a new path extending up the slope to the new area on the higher level. This area can also be reached from a new path to the north of the existing entrance with its own gate. There is a belt of shrubs to be planted no the north-west boundary. The chapel is now labelled "Mortuary Chapel" and the field to the south is now labelled as the "Sewage Disposal Area"

The smaller-scale map shows the cemetery in the context of the asylum. The building in the south-east is the hospital to the asylum. The buildings further south are the asylum. The farm, chapel and doctor's house are shown. There is a gas works through which a "sewage channel" runs, but the field to the south of the cemetery is labelled "Cemetery Field" on this map.
