The Recreation Committee is a
busy one, it looks after the Recreation Ground which is rented
from Rookesbury Estate. The Parish Council employs a Groundsman
to maintain the landscaping and the football pitch and also the
ageing 'pavilion' that houses changing areas for home and away
teams.
This Committee also
manages the play areas on the Recreation Ground and in front of
the Community Centre. The skatepark is also the responsibility
of this Committee. Regular safety inspections are carried out
by Committee members and repairs actioned as necessary. |
